We’ve all been cooped up for weeks now and are finding our rhythms and ways to manage our new lifestyle. I thought today I’d keep my writing light and just share a few things that have brightened our days. Maybe you or your kiddos will enjoy them too.
Crip Camp: A Disability Revolution (Documentary) it is on Netflix right now.
My kids are super happy every day to have a dance party with Dan & Claudia Zanes’ Social Isolation Song Series. You can follow them on FB, IG or watch on YouTube. It’s super fun and we love to have a little music break after dinner!
James Dean (Pete the Cat) reads and teaches us to draw.
So, now I’m all about fermenting. It’s a great way to get good probiotics and vitamin C from a dietary source. I’ve been following a free e-cource from Ferment Works and they also have videos on FB and IG.
My favorite magazine Taproot has downloadable coloring pages and The Taproot at Home journal pages that are full of inspiration– so many things to make and do! They also have lovely crafty goodness that you can buy and make at home.
Our local library‘s Facebook page is full of fun storytimes and other educational talks. I am loving the talks from the naturalists the most! So fun to learn about nature when we are distanced from our favorite places! I know your local library may offer similar things, but it is sometimes fun to take a vacation to another place!
I hope you all are hanging in okay. What are a few of your favorite things?
